General Terms & Conditions

The below terms & conditions relate to all services provided by The Kidd Clinic's Training, Development and Event's Team. 

  • By engaging with The Kidd Clinic - Training & Development you understand that the content of any presentation provided by The Kidd Clinic, including the associated resources, are the intellectual property of The Kidd Clinic and are not to be shared with external individuals or organisations without prior written consent from The Kidd Clinic Training & Development Lead. 
  • No photography or recording of content or The Kidd Clinic employees is permitted without prior written consent from The Kidd Clinic. 

Public Events

The below terms & conditions relate to any service open to members of the public, including but not limited to ticketed events, webinars, and community engagement.

For cancellations for any reason, including change of mind, the following terms apply:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to events@kiddclinic.com.au.
  • Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the event will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will not be offered in the event of non-attendance.

Purchasing by Direct Deposit 

  • To pay by invoice, attendees must follow the process to request a quote as stated on the event site. The Kidd Clinic cannot guarantee that a ticket will be provided if all steps are not complete. 
  • Unless agreed upon in writing by The Kidd Clinic Training & Development Team, the ticket will be cancelled if the quote is not paid by the listed payment date. 

Sharing of Online Registrations is Not Permitted

  • When participating online webinars or events online, the attendee agrees not to sell, trade, transfer, or share access details, unless agreed to by The Kidd Clinic. If The Kidd Clinic determines the attendee has violated this policy, The Kidd Clinic may cancel the attendee's access at any point and retain any payments made by the attendee. 


Cancellation or Postponement of an In-person or Online Event

We do not accept any liability for losses incurred, such as but not limited to travel,

hotels, or any other expenses, if the onsite or online event is cancelled or postponed due to an occurrence that renders performance of the event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible. Such an occurrence shall include but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other

emergency. The Kidd Clinic reserves the right to postpone online events when they see fit and will seek to notify existing attendees as soon as possible, the options of a full refund or credit to the next available session will be offered. 

Provision of Closed-Group Professional Learning Services 

The following terms & Conditions relate to any service to be provided privately to an individual or organisation. This is including but not limited to, consultation, workshops, presentations and private group supervision. 

  • Any quotes provided by The Kidd Clinic are only valid for 14 days from the quotation date. The Kidd Clinic regularly reviews services and their associated costs. Therefore there may be a difference between the initial quote and the final invoice depending on the amount of time between the quote and confirmation of booking. 
  • A private Training & Development session will only be booked in once The Kidd Clinic Training & Events Team has received confirmation from the Organisation's Representative and the invoice has been sent. The Kidd Clinic will not hold tentative dates for more than 14 days. 
  • Payment due date is listed on the invoice.
  • In the event of non-payment by the due date, The Kidd Clinic reserves the right to request a fixed interest payment amounting to 10% of the sum remaining due. The Kidd Clinic will be authorised to suspend any provision of services without prior warning in the event of late payment.
  • If a payment is still outstanding more than sixty (60) days after the due payment date, The Kidd Clinic reserves the right to call on the services of a debt recovery company. All legal expenses will be payable by the client.
  • in situations where The Kidd Clinic presenter is unable to provide a service on the planned service date the following will occur: 
    • Where possible, another presenter will provide the service on the planned date. If there is a difference in costing the Organisation Representative has the right to consent to the other presenter before going ahead with the service. Any difference between the charge out rate of the original presenter and the presenter on the day will either be reimbursed or invoiced to the organisation. 
    • If the organisation would prefer the original presenter or another presenter is not available on the service date then the service will be rescheduled to a different day and time.
