Meet Your Presenters

Dr Theresa Kidd
Clinical Psychologist
Theresa is part of a neurodivergent family including two PDA children (now young adults). She is a clinical psychologist, research fellow and the clinical director of The Kidd Clinic, a private, national psychology group practice focused on Autism, ADHD, and mental health across the lifespan. Theresa has a background in Disability and Employment, Autism and Education (including home education, 'school can't', and founding a program for Autistic university students), and Autism and mental health. She is committed to helping neurodivergent individuals of all ages to minimise their challenges, harness their strengths and to achieve meaningful life goals.
Dr. Miriam Kirby
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Miriam Kirby is a clinical psychologist passionate about supporting and affirming neurodivergent individuals and their families. Her role at The Kidd Clinic includes providing therapeutic support and treatment of co-occurring mental health conditions to individuals of all ages. In addition to providing supervision, Miriam also provides parenting support and problem-solving sessions and enjoys helping like-minded people connect through small, interest-based groups.
Miriam's is highly experienced and skilled in working with PDA clients and their families. Her approach is to offer a low demand, safe space where she works together at a pace that suits her clients. She loves to hear about her client's strengths and interests and understands their needs and preferences in order to provide an individualised and flexible service. She enjoys trying out new games and resources, adding to her book collection, and participating in professional development to keep her skills and knowledge up to date.

Q. How do I join the webinar?
Once registered, you will receive a ticket confirmation. You will receive an email one day before the event containing a Zoom link to the webinar and a resource file. Please note that the Zoom link will only become accessible once the webinar begins.
Q. Can I request an invoice?
Yes! Please fill out the following form to request an invoice to be sent to you.
Q. Can I watch the webinar later if I can't attend live?
Absolutely! The recording will be available for viewing 30 days from when it becomes accessible. Please note that it may take up to a week for the recording to be uploaded and ready to access.
Q. What will I need to participate in the webinar?
All you need is a device with internet access and a quiet space to engage with the content. The webinar platform will be hosted on Zoom which you can join with just a click via the link provided.
Q. Will I be able to ask questions during the webinar?
Yes! There will be a dedicated Q&A session during the webinar, where you can ask questions directly to our trained presenters.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans may need to change.
If you need to cancel your registration, including change of mind, please note the following terms.
• Cancellations must be made in writing to events@kiddclinic.com.au.
• Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the event will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Refunds will not be offered in the event of non-attendance.
